Married a Warlord, Why Kneel?

Shen Qingru, a singer at the Paramount ballroom, enters the warlord’s mansion as the fourth concubine, but in truth she is biding her time for revenge. Her three senior co‑wives—the hypocritical first wife Lu Zhen, the dog‑obsessed second wife Ye Wanjing, and the ruthless third wife Zhou Manlin—are precisely the ones who murdered her mother years ago. She schemes step by step; as soon as she arrives, she causes the second wife’s beloved dog to drop dead and publicly startles the third wife. A single song, Floating Clouds Scatter, gives voice to the deep‑seated resentment within the mansion. Undercurrents surge through the warlord’s residence, and open conflict is about to erupt.
